Literally translated, "Cocaine is lame." This mural was created to protest the widespread use of cocaine and its delayed regulation. Because it was initially painted without permission, Haring was arrested for vandalism, but due to public outcry, his sentence was reduced and he was later officially commissioned by the Parks Department. It underwent extensive restoration in 2012.

A leading figure of pop art in 1980s New York, he began his career with subway graffiti and quickly gained popularity with his bold lines and bouncy characters. His bright and humorous style is widely loved by people of all ages, printed on T-shirts and other items, but the themes of his work are often heavy, primarily raising political and social issues. He was openly gay and died at the young age of 31 from AIDS, but his iconic figures continue to dance on street corners to this day.
