Ehehe! Everyone wants to be happy, don’t they?
Renoir
A muse of happiness and delight,
forever pursuing joy overflowing with light
One of the most famous muses of Impressionism. Warm and friendly by nature, she attracts many other muses who come seeking comfort and healing in her company. She absolutely loves sweet galettes, though apparently she’s been worrying a little about overeating lately.

Bal du moulin de la Galette
This masterpiece by Renoir depicts people dancing in a dance hall with the bright colors and light brushstrokes typical of Impressionism. It is known that some of the people in the crowded crowd were Renoir's friends who served as models. The title refers to a dance hall in Montmartre, France, which apparently sold delicious galettes.

Who is Renoir?
Auguste Renoir
An iconic painter of Impressionism. His portraits and landscapes, painted with soft light and warm colors, were beloved by many people, earning him the nickname “the Painter of Happiness.” He was close friends with Claude Monet from a young age, and the two supported each other through their struggling years. In his later life, rheumatoid arthritis made it difficult even to hold a paintbrush, yet he continued painting by strapping brushes to his hands with bandages, and his passion for creating art never faded until the very end.
